Accommodation
Sanya Bay: Close to airport and high-speed rail, also near Nanshan Temple and Tianya Haijiao
Dadonghai: Located in the city with convenient transportation, near Yedong Promenade and Yiheng Night Market
Yalong Bay: Close to Tropical Forest Park and Atlantis
I personally recommend staying in youth hostels, usually priced between 80-120 RMB, much cheaper than hotels and homestays, mostly with peers and a great chance to make new friends.

Attraction Guide
Sanya’s tourist spots are divided into four areas:
① Sanya Bay: Nanshan Temple, Tianya Haijiao, Yedong Promenade, West Island
② Dadonghai: Sailing Port, Dadonghai, Xiaodonghai
③ Yalong Bay: Yalong Bay Forest Park, Sun Bay Road, Yalong Bay Beach
④ Haitang Bay: CDF Duty-Free Shop, Wuzhizhou Island, Houhai Village

Nanshan Temple: The Guanyin statue is spectacular
Tianya Haijiao: Not really necessary to visit
Yedong Promenade: Great for afternoon photos, especially beautiful sunsets; navigate to Haiyun Hotel
Sun Bay Road: Many S-shaped curves, great for photos, but don’t park too long or you’ll get caught

West Island: A fishing village island; last ferry off the island is at 17:30
Wuzhizhou Island: The water is incredibly clear, truly a glass sea; many water activities available; last ferry at 18:30
