From the moment I set foot in Seattle, the subtle smell of rain and the tranquil atmosphere enveloped the city. The combination of the sea, hills, and modern buildings created a sophisticated yet relaxed vibe.
The first stop was Pike Place Market. The market was filled with fresh seafood, flowers, and unique local shops. The performance of fishmongers tossing salmon captivated visitors. At the nearby Starbucks' first-ever store, the coffee I sipped truly embodied the essence of Seattle.
Next, I ascended the Space Needle observation deck. Despite the slightly rainy and overcast weather, the view of Elliott Bay and the city skyline felt quintessentially Seattle.
For lunch, I enjoyed clam chowder and fresh oysters at a seaside restaurant. In the afternoon, I visited Chihuly Garden and Glass to admire the vibrant glass artworks. The combination of the rainy weather and glass art amplified the emotional experience.
In the evening, I captured Seattle's nightscape from Kerry Park atop a hill. The city lights centered around the Space Needle and the faint silhouette of Mount Rainier in the distance resembled a scene straight out of a movie.
Seattle is a city where rain, coffee, art, and nature coexist. Its serene yet profound charm left me wanting to visit again.
