Located in Uruma City, the "Katsuren Castle Ruins" are believed to have been built by the pre-Ryukyu Kingdom hero, Amawari. Perched on a hill approximately 100 meters above sea level, this site offers stunning views 🏯🌬️. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring gracefully curving stone walls and a spectacular view of the ocean below. On clear days, you can see distant islands, making it a place where both history and nature can be enjoyed.
When you visit, you'll feel the pleasant breeze, and as you climb the stone steps, the scenery changes, adding to the fun ✨. Admission is free, and there are well-maintained walking paths, making it easy to explore the historical site at your leisure.
