Gourmet Birds of Rishiri Island

A 15-minute walk from Kutsugata Port.
A forest park on the mountain behind the city.
It is about 76 hectares in size, and the park makes use of the lush forest.
This is a place to enjoy the magnificent nature and seasonal flowers, but if you're lucky, you might see squirrels and weasels.
There are few outside creatures, so some of them don't run away even when people approach.
Only locals come to the forest park.
In the first place, Kutsugata is a hidden spot that is often not visited by tourist buses.
The park is designed to allow you to feel the lush nature as it is, and is full of negative ions.
There are many giant trees that are as big as sacred trees.
The park is divided into areas such as the Small Bird Forest and the Spring Forest.
In one of these areas, there is a spot where small birds bathe.
I hid in the bushes with my camera for about an hour, and two types of small birds came and bathed happily in the water.
I also think it's the perfect place for those who want to soak up negative ions and feel the power of the powerful trees!
Please do go and check it out.
