Qianmen Street – ถนนคนเดินเก่าแก่ใจกลางปักกิ่ง

Today we didn't have a specific destination, but many reviews recommended walking around Qianmen Street, which we didn't disappoint. This is an old pedestrian street with a long history, dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. It has now been renovated, but still maintains the classic style of the ancient Chinese buildings beautifully.

Both sides of the street are lined with many famous shops and restaurants, such as the famous Peking duck shop, where if you walk past, you will see a long line of people. Or try snacks like Tang Hu Lu (sugar-coated fruit candies) that are beautifully arranged on sticks, and sugar molded into the shape of various animals, which is very enjoyable to look at.

Today we stopped by a famous milk tea shop called Hey Tea, which has a branch here. And we didn't miss buying souvenirs like refrigerator magnets and small souvenirs from shops in the alleys around the main street.

The overall atmosphere is pleasant to walk around, with both the scent of traditional Chinese culture and the excitement of a modern shopping district. If you come to Beijing without a specific plan, I recommend you stop by here. It's easy to walk, you can take beautiful pictures, and there's more to see and shop for than you think!
