Must-Stay for Families: Daye Hotel

📍Daye Hotel, Bo'ao Town, Qionghai City

This time, we stayed at Daye Hotel in a two-bedroom suite with a living room, located in Building C of Azure Coast. The room features a spacious balcony and direct sea views. After exploring the community, I found that Building A of Happy Coast is more convenient, as it’s closer to the Bay Master Canteen and a small supermarket. The entire community has its own beach, just a short walk downstairs—perfect for families with kids.

The environment is fantastic, with a private beach! You can even watch the sunrise over the sea from home.
The only downside is the limited nearby amenities. While there’s an owner’s canteen, the value for money isn’t great.

A must-visit spot—**South China Sea Maritime Museum**
Combining scenery and culture, it’s ideal for kids. Free guided tours are available at several time slots daily. We caught the 10:30 AM session and learned about China’s underwater archaeology history and marine life. The visit ended with the Whale Exhibition Hall.
All exhibits in the animal hall are real specimens—an enlightening experience!
If you miss the free tour, you can rent an audio guide for free. The speaker volume is a bit low, so bringing your own headphones is recommended.

Plenty of delicious food nearby! The seafood at Tanmen Fishing Port is incredibly fresh, and the snack street offers unique local flavors. The water park has thrilling rides that’ll make your day! Qionghai Gongdao serves dishes per person with a rich variety, allowing you to sample multiple specialties at once. Don’t miss Qionghai’s sweet and sticky coarse grain snacks like pandan cake and coconut taro cake—each bite is pure delight. Jiaji duck, with its golden skin and tender meat, is fatty but not greasy, especially when paired with the special dipping sauce—absolutely unforgettable.

Rave reviews online—don’t hesitate, families! Embark on a dreamy island getaway!
